Teaching your children with coupons can help their understanding grow regarding money. Many merchants make coupons available to consumers as a way to provide incentives to try their products. Kids can benefit from you teaching them with coupons. Here are 7 benefits realized when helping children learn with coupons.

1. Thriftiness. Coupons can save some families $100’s of dollars every month. Being frugal is a major component in financial prosperity. Children learn that money can be saved with coupons and also the importance of making good purchases.

2. Color identification. While you flip through the Sunday paper looking for your coupons, name the different colors. Your smaller kids will really enjoy this.
