The nice thing about this method is that you can do it all from your own home without anyone knowing what you are doing. This quick and easy “detective’s trick” is the first thing you should do if you have some thoughts that your partner might be acting unfaithfully.

The First Step - Could Your Spouse Be Cheating?

The first thing you will need to do is find a time where you can look at your spouse’s cell phone for about 15-20 minutes. This isn’t hard to do - you just have to pick a time where you are confident you won’t get “caught” while you are looking at the phone.

You are going to look at their call history that is stored on their phone. Find the incoming and outgoing call lists and write down every phone number that you see on a piece of paper.

If you see numbers that you recognize than you don’t have to write them down, but do make sure to jot down any phone number that doesn’t ring a bell.

When you are all finished, put the phone back and move on to the next step.

Step #2 - Is Your Spouse Cheating?

As you can see, you now have an entire list of all the people that your spouse has been talking to on their phone. Now you are going to find out who is the owner of each phone number on your list.

You can find out a lot of information about someone when all you have is their phone number. It’s possible to find out someone’s full name and address along with their background information when all you have is their phone number.

How is this possible? There are companies out there that specialize in building huge databases that have information all on phone numbers. These companies will purchase access to all phone records (this includes unlisted and cell phone numbers) so that they can put together these databases. You can then run a search on any phone number you want to “investigate”.

Of course there’s a fee for using this type of service, but it isn’t something that costs much. You can find companies that will only charge a flat one-time fee for unlimited searches which is your best bet in this case. That way you don’t get billed for every phone number you run a search on.

This service is known as a “reverse phone search”.

Go through your list of phone numbers and run a search for each one. Write down the information you find out about each one on your sheet of paper.

The Third Step - Could Your Spouse Be Cheating?

Now not only do you have a list of the phone numbers your spouse has called or been called by, but you have full details on who owns each and every one of these phone numbers!

When you know who your spouse has been communicating with it’s easy to spot if anything out of the ordinary is happening. That’s exactly what you have in front of you, so it’s now time to look over your results.

Obviously pay attention to the names that show up and the different calling patterns that you see. In this case, anything suspicious will definitely jump off the page at you.

The great thing about this method is that you an do everything from home and no one will ever know you are running an “investigation”. If there is any reason that you suspect that your spouse is acting unfaithfully, then you need to do what it takes to find out for sure.
