Applying For A Credit Card Is Easy When You Know How

by David Smythe

In our modern society it is not an achievement anymore to hold in your wallet one or more credit cards as it has become a fashion in a world in which paper money start to become outdated.

All over the world credit cards do not change only the running of businesses, but they are able as well to change even people’s lives. Credit cards are promoted practically everywhere you look or do not look for them; therefore you can see them advertized on the internet, in the streets, on the television or in newspapers. Obviously people become determined to purchase at least one credit card. Actually credit cards are part of our lives now.

Credit cards are beneficial for anybody who uses them. Card holders can enjoy all the facilities they offer. You do not have to be pre-occupied by looking after cash as long as you can do your shopping online or offline using credit cards. All over the world businesspersons use plastic money; moreover, if you do not accept plastic money as service provider, you risk to lose part of your clients. That is why more and more people choose to buy credit cards.

One of the best features of a plastic is that you do not have to hand out cash every time you make a purchase. You can avail of the “buy now pay later” feature, when your salary arrives. Is this not a good reason to apply for a credit card?

Another advantage is that some stores and merchant outlets offer discounts, rebates and installment payment plans to their customers. This will make the load of paying for your purchases lighter than when you pay for it one time in cash.

Some stores and shops also have tie ups with card companies. You just need to choose a provider that meets your needs so you can avail of various benefits.

If you pay all your debts related to your credit cards on time, you can enjoy a lot of benefits provided by the bank where you have applied for them. If you pay debts in due time, you will not have to pay additional charges or higher rates of interest.

It is not difficult to apply for a credit card. You can do it by going direct to the card supplier of your choice, through the telephone and through the internet. You will then be asked to fill in an application form to get your personal details. If you are a walk in client, company representatives will be available and happy to assist you.

The next step is the checking of your information. If there is nothing wrong, you will be given the precious plastic you have dreamt of.

Now you know a lot of things about credit cards and you have only to decide if you apply for one or not. Of course there are disadvantages as well apart from advantages, but if you are wise enough a credit card can bring you only advantages. It is up to you to make a decision. Whether you do not have the occasion yet to apply for one credit card, consider it, and do it as soon as you have the privilege.

Potty Training a Puppy: How to Get Started

by Rosana Hart

Potty training a puppy is not difficult to understand, though it does require patience to do! There are just a few simple points that cover the basics, and I will describe them here. Keep your puppy right with you as much of the time as possible. Take him or her to his pottying spot at certain times. Clean up any messes calmly. Repeat this over and over. Sooner or later, you will have a potty-trained puppy.

I’ll discuss these four points:

1. Keeping your puppy with you as much of the time as possible gives you the best chance of catching him just before he starts to pee or poop. Even if you catch him in the act, it helps the potty training — just say NO and take him to where you want him to do his stuff.

You can keep the puppy very close to you by connecting his leash to your belt. So then if you go somewhere, he does too! You may not get as much done on other projects as you are used to, but you and the puppy will be bonding.

Whatever method you choose, do keep your puppy nearby. You may want to use crate training for those parts of the day when you have to be apart. That topic isn’t covered in this article, but I do write a lot about it at my dog training website.

2. When you are potty training a puppy, you are helping him to understand that when he feels an urge to urinate or defecate, he should go to his specially designated place for these activities. How will he learn this? By your taking him there:

*** Each time he awakens, whatever time of day. Since puppies nap a lot, there will be a lot of awakenings!

*** Every time he has a meal.

As you will soon discover, he wakes up, eats, and drinks many times in the course of a day! It’s also a good idea to take him out just before you go to bed.

Where will his pottying place be? If you have a yard with a fenced part to it, you can actually teach him to use a part of the yard by taking him there. If you have no yard, or an unfenced one, walking him on leash is another good way to potty train him. A third option is to paper-train him inside… often good if you live in a very cold climate or many floors up in an apartment building.

3. When you wipe up any messes that he creates, don’t grumble. The dog will not understand that he has done anything to displease you. People sometimes say that the puppy “looks guilty” but really his expression is more one of unhappiness because he can tell you are unhappy. Puppies take a lot less time to potty train than humans, so just be patient!

4. As the saying goes, “Wash, rinse, and repeat.” That is, just keep going through these steps repeatedly. The more you keep up this process, the easier it will be for the puppy to understand what you are asking of him. We all learn by repetition, and this is very true of dogs.

So these are the essential points in potty training a puppy. Best wishes to you and your puppy!

The Baby Jade Bonsai: Progressive Gardeners Apply Within

by Ava Conner

No plant is more attractive as an indoor bonsai than the Baby Jade. One of the newer bonsai varieties, the stunning Baby Jade bonsai is becoming a fast favorite of gardeners looking for an indoor bonsai. An African native, this is a tropical, succulent plant.

The Baby Jade is also known as the Elephant Bush. The trunk, leaves, and branches are ‘fleshy’ and are used to store water. The leaves are round, and pale green. In the wild a Baby Jade will grow close to six feet tall.

Baby Jade Watering, Nutrition, and Maintenance

You will have no trouble at all using the Baby Jade bonsai as an indoor bonsai tree. The most important thing to remember is that it will need proper lighting so that it can produce enough food for nutrition. You can spread watering over long intervals as the Baby Jade bonsai needs relatively little water.

Judge watering needs of the Baby Jade bonsai by the dryness of the soil in its pot. When the soil has become dry, it is time to water your tree. Remember that even though the Baby Jade can go a long time without watering, care must be taken to not avoid watering at all!

Baby Jade bonsais are very fast growers. Plan accordingly for the shaping of your tree. Your preferences will play a large role in how much time you spend shaping. At the end of the day your Baby Jade bonsai will reward you. This is a beautiful bonsai tree, especially when flowering.

The Baby Jade’s bark will go through various stages in its lifetime. It will start with a green bark. As the tree matures, the bark will turn deep red. When the final stages of maturity are reached, a beatiful, natural gray coloring will take over. The flowers of the Baby Jade bonsai are purple in color with pink borders, shaped like stars.

There are some more traditional bonsai gardeners who will try to tell you that the Baby Jade bonsai is not a real bonsai. I say they are wrong. There are thousands of bonsai gardeners who proudly display their Baby Jade bonsai and will tell you loud and clear that the Baby Jade is here to stay!
